GameSheet Inc, the most trusted name in digital scorekeeping and league management is pleased to announce the signing of a deal to score youth hockey games for more than 2,200 teams in the New York State Amateur Hockey Association, one of the oldest and most respected hockey organizations in North America.
Leading the way as an early adopter of GameSheet, the forward thinking executive staff at NYSAHA started using the system to score its state events five years ago when the product first launched in the United States growing nearly 10 fold from 35,000 games scored to more than 320,000 this past season.
Starting in August 2024, all NYSAHA teams will be able to use GameSheet to score their league games and well as all qualifying games for the N.Y. State Tournament.
“We know GameSheet very well,” said Eric Guzdek, president for NYSAHA. “We’ve worked closely with their team for many years and we’re proud to usher our hockey community into the digital world on an affiliate wide basis with a proven best-in-class technology partner. GameSheet improves the workflow for volunteers, league executives, webmasters, referees, coaches, team managers and most importantly our families who run their lives with technology…their hockey experience should be the same.”
Steve Feinberg from GameSheet commented, “We have been working together with NYSAHA for many years, scoring their State Tournaments and other events. It is win for GameSheet and NYSAHA, it clubs, teams, players and parents and is tacit evidence of the quality of services we provide to USA Hockey and its affiliates. “
