The New York State Tournament, a recently completed 3 week-end long event, took full advantage of GameSheet’s Live Scoring feature. Only 1 spectator per player was allowed due to Covid Restrictions but thanks to the live scoring feature parents who were not able to attend could follow along in real time on the NYSAHA website.
Upwards of 2300 players from 135 teams across the state took part in the event. During the 3 week-ends of play, more than 240 games were played, and from those game’s we’ve tabulated some interesting stats:
- 1734 goals were scored for an average of just over 7 goals per game;
- 1949 penalties were awarded and Tripping was the most common with 20% of the total;
- Gabriel O’Connor from the Finger Lakes Outlaws scored 17 Goals and 8 Assists in 5 games.
- Jillian Willis from the Adirondack Northstars led the way on the Girls side with 11 Goals and 7 Assists.
Congratulations to all the participants and the amazing organizational staff from NYSAHA.
