Scorekeeper Scholarship

Our way of giving back to the scorekeepers who give up their Saturdays to score the game we love.

GameSheet is proud to support those that help to make the game what it is. Scorekeepers wake up early, stay out late, and give up their weekends to make sure the games get scored. They don't ever complain, they just love the game and being involved in any way they can. GameSheet is proud to present this Scholarship as our way of saying thanks.

The GameSheet Scorekeeper Scholarship is a one-time award of $1000, given out to 4 deserving students (2 Canadian and 2 American) who will be continuing their education in September following their graduation from High School.

Application Process

Complete the application form, (the link is below) and provide 2 letters of recommendation from individuals that can attest to your work as a scorekeeper. This could include your employer, or a league or association representative or a game official or a teacher. These references are preferably different people then those already indicated in the application form.

The reference letters should address your work ethic and other personal qualities that would make you a good candidate for this scholarship. What has made you an outstanding scorekeeper, and invaluable part of the game.

Applications are reviewed by the GameSheet Scholarship Committee and the recipients are announced in July. Applicants are evaluated based on their personal letter, reference letters, and Application form equally.

The application deadline for students entering post-secondary schools in September 2021 is June 30th, 2021.
